There are many benefits you can have by using the Muon Vision technology.
These are its most important features:
- a directional measurement of average bulk density (a key parameter in geophysical characterization) simultaneously across multiple independent voxels and in a customizable 3D grid; the nuclear bulk density measurement is extremely robust and widely employed, for instance, by the O&G industry;
- accurate quantification of fluid content within a leaching heap, a tailing pond or at the toe of a dam, down to 1% precision and accuracy, every a few days of observation times;
- continuous measurement, so as to track the distribution and evolution of fluids and detect even small changes over time;
- safe and non-invasive hardware: we don’t require the use of dangerous radioactive sources, ever; our sensors are invisibile just like cosmic rays and do not interfere with operations;
- large coverage: a single sensor can fully map one typical leaching module (150 x 50m² area);
- team effort: networks of multiple sensors provide fully tomographic 3D reconstruction and can easily scale up to cover the full site;
- an advanced management console: delivered on multiple platforms, our intuitive Smart Heap console alerts the operator of any substandard conditions. Meanwhile, your data keeps accumulating on a secure cloud platform to deliver the most realistic geomodels in near real-time.
Last but not least, muons are an ideal source for passive nuclear imaging measurement: a free, endless, safe and deep-reading alternative to radionuclide-sources, which are expensive, difficult to obtain, heavily regulated and are generally not safe to use near surface.
